  • Business information: Trade type, service area, hours of operation, services offered, emergency handling preferences
  • Payment information: Processed securely through Stripe. Wrenchbot does not store credit card numbers or payment details on our servers.
  • Communications: Messages sent through our contact form, email, or text

2.2 Information Collected Through Wrenchy (Your Customers)

When Wrenchy is deployed for your business and your customers interact with it, Wrenchy may collect: customer name, phone number, email address, nature of the service request, urgency level, customer address (when provided), call recording and/or transcript (voice calls), chat conversation transcript (website widget), and preferred appointment time.

This information is collected on your behalf as a Wrenchbot client and is delivered directly to you via email and/or SMS. You are responsible for how you use and store your customers’ data.

2.3 Automatically Collected Information

When you visit wrenchbotai.com, we may automatically collect IP address, browser type and version, pages visited and time spent, referring website, and device type. This information is used for analytics and improving our website. We do not sell this data.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, configure, and maintain your Wrenchbot subscription and Wrenchy AI voice agent and chat widget
  • Process payments through Stripe
  • Send lead and call notifications via email and SMS on your behalf
  • Communicate with you about your account, updates, and support
  • Improve our services and website
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your information for advertising purposes or sell it to third parties.

4. Lead Data — Your Customers’ Information

When Wrenchy captures a lead, that customer’s information belongs to you. Wrenchbot delivers lead data to you via email and/or SMS, does not sell or share your customers’ data, and retains call recordings and conversation transcripts only as long as necessary to deliver the service.

As a Wrenchbot client, you are the data controller for your customers’ information. You are responsible for complying with applicable privacy laws in your jurisdiction.

For phone calls specifically: callers interact with an AI voice agent. While Wrenchy does not explicitly announce recording on every call, call handling and transcription are inherent to the service. It is your responsibility as the business owner to comply with any applicable call recording disclosure laws in your state or jurisdiction.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

5.1 Service Providers

  • RetellAI — AI voice agent platform that powers Wrenchy phone answering
  • Twilio — phone number provisioning and call routing
  • Aminos.ai — website chat widget platform
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Make (Integromat) — automation layer for lead notification delivery
  • Hostinger — website hosting
  • Google — calendar integrations and form processing

These providers are contractually required to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we specify.

5.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Wrenchbot, our clients, or others.

5.3 Business Transfer

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of Wrenchbot, your information may be transferred to the acquiring party. We will notify you before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss, including secure HTTPS connections, PCI-compliant payment processing through Stripe, access controls, email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and use of established, security-audited third-party platforms. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

7. Data Retention

  • Account information is retained for 12 months after cancellation in case you return
  • After 12 months, personal information is deleted or anonymized
  • Call recordings and transcripts are deleted after delivery of the service
  • Payment records may be retained longer as required by law

Our website may use cookies to improve your browsing experience — for remembering preferences, analyzing traffic, and improving functionality. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings.

Our services are intended for business owners and are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, contact us immediately and we will delete it.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites and encourage you to review their policies.

13. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
